Shey Phoksundo Lake Trek 11 Days

The most beautiful lake in the Himalayas? Come see for yourself. The waters of the lake often considered sacred by Buddhist mirror the often snowy peaks of Kanjiroba massif. The main reason to take this trek is not just the beauty of the lake but a chance to see part of Nepal which still attracts few tourists. To start we fly to the small airstrip in Juphal to start this trek in the remote region of Nepal. Given its isolation, it is an only a moderately difficult and relatively short trek in that it can be done in under 10 days. No high passes are crossed and it is Dolpo's one and only teahouse trek.
