The Chisapani Nagarkot trekking tour is less crowded trekking destination around the Kathmandu valley. Yet it offers a rich insight into the lives, history, culture and religion of the inhabitants of this picturesque land. From both Chisapani and Nagarkot you'll get spectacular Mountain Views as well as a panoramic view of Kathmandu valley. Nagarkot is one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.

Full Itinerary

Day 1 - Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu! We'll be waiting to greet you at the airport and then transfer you to your hotel to drop off your stuff and freshen up before embarking on our tour. We'll take you to explore the Pashupatinath Temple, the largest temple complex in Nepal, stretching across both sides of the Bagmati River. This temple is one of the very few living cultural heritage sites in the world in that it is an active place of worship, buzzing with continuous activity and daily rituals. Following this unique experience we'll visit the Boudhanath Stupa, the main destination for Buddhism followers. After this first fun-filled day we'll head back to the hotel for the night.

Day 2 - Kathmandu to Sundarijal to Chisapani

In the morning we'll make the short drive to Sundarijal where we'll begin our trek to Chisapani through the small settlements of Thames village up through beautiful landscapes, enjoying amazing mountain views. At Chisapani you'll get some of the best views of the Himalayan range and country sides. There we'll spend the night in a lodge.

Day 3 - Chisapani to Nagarkot

After breakfast we'll begin our 6-7 hours trek to Nagarkot which passes mostly through the dense forest. We'll arrive at the beautiful village of Nagarkot and spend the night at a hotel.

Day 4 - Nagarkot to Kathmandu

Wake up early in the morning and early to experience a gorgeous sunrise and Mt Everest view. After breakfast we'll trek to Changu Narayan Temple, what is said to be the oldest Hindu temple still in use in the Kathmandu valley. After exploring the temple's rich history and stunning architecture, we'll drive back to Kathmandu and spend the night in a Hotel.

Day 5 - Kathmandu

Today we'll transfer you back to the airport where we'll say our final goodbyes and wish you luck on your next adventure!
