Full Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu! We'll be waiting to greet you at the airport and then transfer you to your hotel to drop off your stuff and freshen up before embarking on our tour. We'll take you to explore the Pashupatinath Temple, the largest temple complex in Nepal, stretching across both sides of the Bagmati River. This temple is one of the very few living cultural heritage sites in the world in that it is an active place of worship, buzzing with continuous activity and daily rituals. Following this unique experience, we'll visit the Boudhanath Stupa, the main destination for Buddhism followers. After this first fun-filled day we'll head back to the hotel for the night.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Pokhara

After breakfast, we'll make the 6 to 7-hour long drive to Pokhara by private car. There will also be an option to go rafting on the Trishuli river for an extra USD 20. We'll then spend the night in a hotel.

Day 3: Pokhara

We'll wake up bright and early at 5:00 am to drive to Sarangkot for a beautiful view of the sunrise and Mount Annapurna, the 10th highest mountain in the world. After taking in the sights we'll head back to the hotel for breakfast and some rest before heading out for some sightseeing starting with the Bindabasini Temple. This Hindu structure sits about 100 m above sea level along the renowned Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountain ranges, overlooking the bustling city below. We'll then head further up to the serene World Peace Stupa where you'll get an extraordinary panoramic view of this part of the Himalayas. To end today's tour we'll visit the stunning waterfall, Devi's Fall, and Mahendra Cave before making our way back to the hotel for a well deserved nights rest.

Day 4: Pokhara to Chitwan

After breakfast, we'll make the drive to Chitwan National Park, home to rich plant life as well as one of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic Rhinoceros. It is also one of the last refuges of the Bengal tiger. After lunch, we'll embark on an Elephant Safari and enjoy this landscapes rich culture. Then it's time to head to the hotel for a good night's rest.

Day 5: Chitwan - Kathmandu

Early in the morning we'll get up close and personal with the Chitwan National Park's wildlife with a jungle walk where you may see elephants, tigers, rhinos, crocodiles, deer or sloth bears. Then it's back to the hotel for breakfast before departing back to Kathmandu. There we'll visit the incredible Swayambhunath Stupa, also aptly known as the "Monkey Temple" due to the playful monkeys who swing from trees, prayer flags, and even slide down the structure's banister. We'll then head over to Patan Durbar square, a magnificent, concentrated mass of ancient places, temples, and shrines. Afterwards, we'll spend our last night in a hotel.
